At Allied you will provide person centred/outcome focused support and be adaptable to the individual needs of the customer. As a Support worker you will be playing a fundamental part in improving the customer’s quality of life and Wellbeing.
You will be supporting a customer with a variety of complex needs as a result of a fall the client has an aquired brain injury,mobility and communication needs.The client uses stick as a walking aid however will be keen to be in the community. Duties can include administration of medication, weekly shopping, assistance with weekly banking, and budgeting, light cleaning duties, and development of daily life skills. The role may include elements of personal care.
We are looking for empathetic and caring individuals who are able to work as part of a team, as well as being able to work on their own initiative. The role will include an element of evenings and weekends. Experience in the care industry is preferred but not essential for this role as full training will be provided.
