Scheme Manager

Allied Healthcare is one of the UK's leading providers of Domiciliary Care with a network of over 90 branches operating Nationwide. We are currently recruiting for a Scheme Manager in one of our Extra Care Units based in Clapham, London.  The unit is a 28 Bed facility, located in SW4, a 5 minute walk from both Clapham South or Clapham Common Tube stations.

You will be responsible for the management of the care workers ensuring all of the existing Care team are developed and trained. Your other main responsibilities are; Health, Safety and Quality assurance, recruitment and training, supervisions and appraisals, the management of the schemes' budgets, carrying care needs assessments and completing care plans and risk assessments.  You will ensure that audits are carried out in line with policy.  You are also responsible for completing the rota for carers and scheduling their time on the rota system.  

The ideal candidate will have proven people management skills, NVQ level 3 or equivalent, experience of working within a regulatory environment preferably  a CQC regulated service.   Experience of being a Scheme Manager is highly advantageous.

This role is  9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with no structured On-Call requirement, however you will have a company phone and be expected to be available in the event of an emergency.

In return we offer you competitive rates of pay which starts at £25,000.00, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and ongoing training.
