Telephone Triage Nurse

Primecare health care services are a leading provider of healthcare services across the UK, working closely with NHS Trusts, Clinical Commissioning Groups and other Public and private sector organisations to provide people with access to scheduled and unscheduled healthcare services they need, when they need them.
Bank Hours available for a Telephone Triage Nurses which will be based from our Stafford office.  

Reporting to the Clinical Services Manager, the Teleconsultation Nurse is responsible for assessing and offering advice to a varied client group with a wide range of conditions by using a telecommunications system. The post holder will be committed to providing a quality service and will therefore be involved in continuous professional development, updating skills and knowledge and the development of the service.

The Ideal Candidate will:
• Registered General Nurse Level 1.
• At least four years post registration experience in primary/urgent care.
• Broad clinical knowledge base.
• Experience of professional autonomy and multi-disciplinary team work.
• Proficient ICT skills.
• Experience in a primary/urgent care environment.
• Willingness to facilitate service development.
• Highly developed communication skills.
• Negotiation skills.
• Ability to obtain and process information from any caller.
• Ability to balance individual needs.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Willing to participate in protocol and standard setting.
• Ability to plan and prioritise work.
