Social Media Executive - Stafford

The Social Media Executive will be responsible for the management of all company social media accounts and activity to create and sustain an engaging customer experience. Research and content generation will both be key responsibilities, as we seek to improve our social media presence and campaign efficacy.

Reporting to the Employee Communications Manager, the Social Media Executive will deliver highly-creative and engaging content across a range of campaigns by working with various stakeholders. The Social Media Executive will work closely with the Graphic Designers and other marketing professionals to promote the overall brand through social media channels and will be expected to effectively manage social media interactions, acting appropriately to respond to or otherwise handle online engagements, e.g. comments, messages etc.

The Social Media Executive will be expected to build and work to a clear strategy and timeline, ensuring that all relevant activities are covered.

Role & Responsibilities
•    Efficiently manage all company social media accounts, assisting us in maintaining and growing our online audience
•    Develop creative and engaging content for regularly scheduled posts to enlighten audiences in line with brand messaging, and for inclusion in bi-monthly internal newsletters
•    Coordinate social media activity with internal and external marketing stakeholders, ensuring that timelines coincide with brand messages or advertising campaigns
•    Audit and analyse social media presences, gathering visitor data and determining areas for improvement
•    Monitor and report on social media activity of our competitors
•    Actively contribute to team meetings and other initiatives
•    Manage their own workload with little supervision, accurately estimating timescales for work to be completed
•    Proofread all messages to ensure accuracy and quality of content
•    Work within set brand guidelines and styles to ensure consistency in all of our content
•    Assist within the wider communications team wherever required

Skills & Experience
•    Demonstrated proficiency in copywriting, with links to readily available examples
•    Experience with Microsoft Office applications, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
•    Extensive knowledge of Social Media Platforms, with experience of managing business channels
•    Proven experience of utilising targeted social media advertisements to produce results
•    Experience of public relations and brand marketing
•    Proofreading and editing skills
•    Strong interpersonal skills
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills
•    Customer service skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Social Media or a related course of study plus 1-2 years of related experience, OR 3-4 years of related experience
