At Allied you will provide person centred/outcome focused support and be adaptable to the individual needs of the customer. As a Support worker you will be playing a fundamental part in improving the customer’s quality of life and wellbeing.

You will be supporting a female customer with a variety of needs with their day to day life enabling them to maintain and increase their independence in the comfort of their own home, and the community. Duties will include, weekly shopping, assistance with weekly banking, light cleaning duties, and development of daily life skills. The role will also include elements of personal care. The customer has an aquired brain injury and suffers with epilepsy. The service user has use of a wheelchair at times but can walk with an aid.

We are looking for empathetic and caring individuals who are able to work as part of a team, as well as being able to work on their own initiative. The role will include various shift patterns and we have block shifts available from 9am to 5pm, or 5pm to 9am on a sleeping night . Experience in the care industry is preferred but not essential for this role as full training will be provided.
