Group IT Project Manager
Job Title: Group IT Project Manager
Location: Stafford (ST18 0FX)
Hours: Permanent Contract working 37.5hrs - Monday to Friday 9-5
Salary: Upto £30,000
Reporting to the Group’s Head of IT Infrastructure & Service Delivery, the Group IT Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, design, execution, monitoring and controlling aspects of multiple Infrastructure and Application related projects. Ensuring that projects are completed on time and to budget.
Critical success factors include technical excellence, the ability to motivate, organise and advise a team of technical staff as and when projects and initiatives require.
The Group IT Project Manager is also expected to champion the use of consistent and reliable solution delivery processes. Employing tried and tested techniques to deliver projects is vital to the success of this role.
The job holder will be expected to work cross functionally with both the Infrastructure and Applications Team.
The Group IT Project Manager is expected to work in a collegiate manner with their peers and team members to ensure common standards for quality and work engagement.
Qualifications & Experience
• Experience as an IT Project Manager
• Have delivered IT Infrastructure and Application projects
• Have good analysis skills
• Have a grasp of budgeting
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build long-standing and trusting relationships with stakeholders
• A pragmatic approach to project management whilst ensuring quality and ensuring processes are followed
• The ability to travel to business unit sites as and when required
• Prince 2 certification
