Out of Hours Driver / Receptionist

Primecare health care services are a leading provider of healthcare services across the UK, working closely with NHS Trusts, Clinical Commissioning Groups and other Public and private sector organisations to provide people with access to scheduled and unscheduled healthcare services they need, when they need them.
 
A position has arisen in Primecare for an Out of Hours Receptionist / Driver role to cover the Hereford area.  The position will be 37.5 hours per week covering evenings, weekends and overnights.   
 
Reporting to the Team Leader, the Out of Hours Receptionist / Driver is responsible for transporting the out of hours Doctor’s to any patient’s address who require medical attention. The job holder is required to use company vehicles within their role and they must ensure that follow all safety guidelines put in place.
Additionally the Driver will be responsible for liaising with the control room in an effective manner, ensuring that all information is recorded and accurately passed onto the Doctor to comply with procedure.
 
 The Ideal Candidate will:
•    Excellent customer relationships skills
•    Full clean UK driving license
•    25 years or over in order to be covered by Fleet Insurance.
•    Excellent communication skills
•    Good knowledge of local area.
